Another suggestion : breadcrumbs by Anne Urdu. Fantasy adventure book for Tweens and up with an adoption theme. Protagonist is an Indian girl adopted transracially by white parents who recently divorced. My daughter couldn’t put it down.
Lauren, thank you. I love it when books have a great story and fit into several of our diversity categories. Thanks.
